New Research on Payday Loan Trend

Filed Under: cash advance research short-term loans

A new public announcement was made by TheNewsStar.com, asking for those who have worked with the payday loan industry to help in a new study. Apparently, they are looking to research the new trend that borrowers are increasingly leaning on cash advances and other payday loans to make ends meet. This is what the announcement said: “Increasing numbers of Americans are turning to short-term loans, typically called payday loans, to make ends meet. [[ads]] In the Twin Cities, new payday loan shops are opening regularly. The News-Star is looking to do a project on the trend. If you’ve worked in the industry, currently work in the industry or use the loans, The News-Star wants to hear from you. Please contact reporter Stephen Largen at slargen@monroe.gannett.com or at 318-362-0237” (http://www.thenewsstar.com/article/20100914/UPDATES01/100914012). While this research may take a while to conduct, I will be on the lookout for updates to see what they find.
